Formation Bio Appoints Michael Ehlers as Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Research
Formation Bio, an AI-native pharma company, has appointed Michael D. Ehlers, MD, PhD, as Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Research & Development. Dr. Ehlers will provide end-to-end scientific and R&D leadership, from translational sciences through clinical development, and will guide the scientific direction of the company's AI platform.
Dr. Ehlers joins from MPM BioImpact, where he was an Entrepreneur Partner. He previously founded four companies as Partner and CSO at Apple Tree Partners, led Ascidian Therapeutics as founding CEO, and served as Executive Vice President of R&D at Biogen and Group Senior Vice President of BioTherapeutics Research at Pfizer.
